The wonder of Europe
The great thing about living in the UK is that we are truly blessed with being in such close proximity to the culture and sophistication of Europe. This huge land mass offers diversity and wonder like no other continent, and with massive differences between each country, it’s easy to experience totally different ways of life, and see amazing sights, all within the space of a week or two.

Where you go is totally dependent on your preferences, but whichever country, or even countries, you choose, you won’t struggle to find cheap flights, with many low cost airlines offering budget fares to some of the most popular destinations. You can cut your costs even further by booking airport parking ahead of time, totally cutting out the need for expensive taxis or stressful public transport. I do this regularly now, having become hooked on the convenience of it all, and I regularly use Airparks to book my parking spot. Don’t just take my word for it, have a look at the deals on offer, even for more regional airports, with fantastic rates available for Bristol Airport parking, which is a service I’ve used regularly.
If you can cut costs at source, you will have more to spend in your destination, which equals more fun and experiences to be had.

The first major decision you will have is where to visit. Whether it’s a city break, beach break, adventure holiday, or something a little more educational, you truly are spoilt for choice.
Italy begs to be explored for its history, art and architecture, not to mention the delicious food. Spain is fantastic for a beach break, and France is perfect for sophistication and glamour. Germany is a favourite for history and more architecture, and Switzerland and Austria are of course favourites amongst skiers and winter sports’ lovers. Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, these are all beach break favourites, with millions of tourists flocking to their beaches every year. The list truly does go on.

Accommodation is plentiful, and you can often get a cheap last minute deal on a hotel if you wait until the very last second, as hoteliers would often prefer to sell empty rooms off cheap, than have them standing empty.
If you want to travel between European countries, this is quite simple, with flights, rail, and road links all very easy to navigate, and it is simply a case of doing your research before you go.
Put simply, Europe is a traveller’s dream, and one that begs to be explored.
